I find your organization a wonderful opportunity for those who wish be part of a larger prayer organization and would like to keep it in mind as a potential expansion of my own studies.
Blessings to you,
Monica

Gave up the website, requests4prayers due to health and being inundated by evil emails and site attacks.

Survey: (Liked best:) The Celtic theme, the Franciscan spirituality, a lot...  (Liked least:) No major grievances.  Some minor doctrinal disagreements.  Nothing serious.  The web site could be more impressive visually.
(Like to see:) A Protestant-Franciscan take on Mary would be interesting.
(Are you Born again:) Born-again.
(Visit site:) Weekly.
(Age group:) 18-29.
I found it very encouraging.  I find it inspirational to see Protestants incorporate Catholic tradition in a positive way.  All I can say is God bless!  Keep up the good work!                                                         (British Columbia)

Dear Friends,
A question was running through my mind as to whether or not there were any lay monasteries in existence.  I had contemplated speaking to others about forming one when, lo and behold, I decided to check first on the internet.  And there your site appeared!  What a wonderful revelation!  I want to thank God for you and those of you who have made this a reality.
Perhaps some day I will be able to visit you and learn more.
In the meantime, I just wanted you to know that I believe you are part of a movement in the Church that will have long lasting effects in the lives of people.
Rejoicing with you in the Lord,
Raph M.

Survey:  (I am:) Born-again; 18-29 age group.  I was surfing the net, looking for "Independent Monastic Orders".
Well, I'm still investigating all of the links.  But I really enjoyed "green monks with a red canoe".  I love this entire web site.  I love everything!  Excellent!!!!
I thought, "This is great!"  I couldn't stop thinking about the web site, all last night and today.
Please, continue to build and work in this ministry. The Protestant church needs ministries like this.  You never hear of "Protestant Monasticism". Keep up your good work!                                         Howard (Missouri)

Dear Brother and Sister in Christ,                                                               I wanted to write and confirm my commitment to your endeavor as a prayer warrior and request a certificate and card be sent to me at your convenience.

I have reviewed your website with great joy and am using your daily prayer schedule in my personal devotions.  I was so impressed with the clarity and simplicity of your plan that I volunteered for the 24-hour prayer chain and wanted to further support your order financially.  I reviewed your statement of faith and found that it meets my spiritual needs perfectly.  I don't yet know if I am prepared to undertake a commitment as a lay monk, but until I am sure, I wanted to let you know of my support.

Your ministry has blessed my life and I am grateful.  You will find the appropriate donation enclosed for a Prayer Warrior Card & Certificate.  May the Lord continue to bless your efforts.                                      Yours in Christ,                                                                                         Lon E. (Tennessee)

Dear Monks Linda and Preston,
I Praise The Living LORD for finding your site! really I do.
I have no idea why I was searching the web, other than a feeling that I was drawn to search out Protestant Friars and I came upon your site.
I Love what you are doing and I have been so refreshed and inspired - and that's not easy for us unemotional Brits : )

Nearly 15 years ago having listened and loved John Michael Talbot and always been fascinated by the life of a contemplative, I visited a Franciscan Friary in Alnmouth (which is not too far from Holy Island). I felt God was drawing me to some kind of 'monk-like' life (?).

What I have lacked in my life is the routine of prayer that belonging to an 'Order' can bring.  Whilst this can become spiritually dry if it is followed 'religiously', I fully agree with all that you say about times of the day for reflection.  And it is as if; if I were to belong to a praying Order; that would be enough for me to follow a regular diet of prayer.
In my past, have been a Youth Pastor (for about 6 years) as well as youth leader, and part of the Church 'over-sight.'  I was the children's Sunday School teacher as well as the Bible Teacher for our Church.  I consider myself well-read and have already read some of your recommended material.  If I had the money, I would willingly purchase the rest and wade through it all!  There isn't one book I would 'turn my nose up' at.
In fact...I wish there were things on your web-site I could disagree with, because it all appears too good to be true : )  It is almost as if I had written the web-site : )
P.S.?  Although I have not visited Lindisfarne, I have stayed on Iona in Scotland.  A beautiful and almost mysterious Island of peace and tranquility.  I can understand why the Celtic Fathers chose that place.  In regards to Francis, he has been a hero of mine and found something I would love to experience.  His love of all things, even nature, and his adoration of Our LORD is a an inspiration to all -- even non-Catholics.  He's one chap I shall rush to talk to when we arrive in Glory : )

May God continue to cause growth in all that you do for Him.  May the Lord Bless you and Keep you close to His Heart.
Gaz M. (U.K.)

(What I liked most about your Site was:) Its simplicity.  That it was humble, simple and challenging to me to forsake worldly things to do the Lord's will... (Munster, Ireland) ____________________________________________________________
