I am born again since 1979.  I am from an Irish Catholic family in New Jersey.  I have a burden for my lost countryman and I see how your organization might be very effective in crossing the boundaries that we Irish have hid behind.  I will pray for you as you continue to pray for Ireland and the world.
Love in Christ,
(New Jersey)

It was quite a blessing to have discovered The Prayer Foundation website, and to learn of the like-minded individuals associated with it.

I did...intend to subscribe to your newsletter...  Thanks!  I feel that your ministry is important, and will continue to pray for you all.                         Yours in Christ,                                                                                       Eddie M. (Tyler, Texas)

Our library would like to purchase your film, The Amish: A People of Preservation on DVD.  We are a private college in south central Pennsylvania and feel that this would be an excellent addition to our collection.
Thank you for your help,
Karen R. (Pennsylvania)

I awoke this morning at 3:00 A.M. to begin my Prayer Time...As I began my
Spirit...was stirred if you will...So I stopped Praying...I then went to my Favorites Page (all my Saved Christian Sites)...I scrolled through them all one by one, From Andrew Murray to Walter Martin, From C. S. Lewis to E. M. Bounds, on and on I went..."Search under Prayer" came to me...I did, and I found your site...I was strangely drawn to it (your site).  I'll admit I was looking for something, something that would cause me to write The Prayer Foundation
off as a group of misfits, folks trying to get something from me...or maybe you were trying to spread some strange new Doctrine...

No angles were found, not even close...no unsound Doctrine was
preached...just the "Normal Christian Life" as I see and understand it
being lived out by men and women alike...Very pleased to see that women are part of The Prayer Foundation
as well...                              I was also most pleased to see that you are inclusive as far as the Protestant and Catholic Churches go...I attend...Church of the Nazarene...and Calvary Chapel as well...and sometimes go to the...California Missions to pray...I think there are many things that we Protestants can learn from our Brothers and Sisters of the Catholic Church...the most moving Movie for me was/is The Passion of the Christ...I love Mel Gibson, Thomas Merton and Mother Teresa...I love J. Vernon McGee, Billy and Ruth Graham, Oswald Chambers, Martin Luther, etc...
Of course I did read your Statement of Faith and the Plan of
Salvation
(I became a "Real Christian" on 01/01/1993, Meaning that I
was a Thorny Ground, Shallow Ground, Rocky Ground Hearer of the Gospel a few times before that date)...I was called out to become "a Prayer Warrior" almost 10 years ago but was a bit lost as to what that meant...I know now....

So I would be most pleased to begin the process of "Becoming a Monk"
immediately...I will also send you $20.00 a month to help out in whatever way I can...
Most Sincerely,
In Christ,
Jay P. (California)

Hello...much greetings to you in the name of our Savior.  ...have gone through your website and realize that you teach the truth which many people are in search of.  For us that have found the truth we would like to join the ministry and to serve Him with you.  I mean to spread the Good News across Africa.  For many years have been searching for someone to teach me the truth and how to serve Him perfectly.  Though we are not satisfied in giving our self wholly because of need, but because of truth which we have come across. Give my regards to everybody.                                                                    Yours,                                                                                                                David O. (Kenya)

Dear Friends,                                                                                                      Over the years I have seen the movie: The Inn of the Sixth Happiness and wondered if the story was true.  Tonight I came to my computer to see and found your website...please let me know how I can get her book...Gladys Aylward: Missionary To China.  Also, I'd love to have your (E-Newsletter) e-mails.
I know you hear this all the time, but your website has a Powerful Spiritual Presence.  I felt it, I was drawn into it with every page.  I felt in tune with it somehow.  My spirit, my soul and my body responded with a deep sense of peace and the presence of the Holy Spirit.  I even prayed, "Lord, am I supposed to become a monk?"                                                 Thanks...Because He Lives, Victoria                                                                                                              P.S.: I'm going to close and return to your website!

I am a 13 year-old from Kentucky. I was wondering if teenagers could become "oblate" monks. Nathaniel M. (Kentucky)

Yes, teenagers can become "oblate" Monks---the purpose is the same: Growing In Christ---so all of the other requirements are exactly the same, also (see requirements at: Become A Monk!).

Dear Monks at The Prayer Foundation,
Thank you for your encouragement and prayers.
I received my certificate today, which was a light in
a dark time.  God also gave me four excellent classes
today in elementary music.

I am praying for all the un-posted requests, as well as
a few that are posted.  I also am working my way up
the list of monks and pray for two of them
specifically every day.  I pray for the four of you
every day too.

I realized last night that the day I received my Monk Certificate.  (Mar. 9) was the 24th anniversary of my arrival as a missionary in Japan!
In Christ,
Monk Denise (Japan)

Dear Monks @ Prayer Foundation,
I am trying to get my life straight and I feel called to Celtic Christianity and becoming a lay monk. It will be wonderful to have fellowship with others of the same spiritual beliefs.
I will be sending my check to be Registered.  May God bless you.
Very truly yours,
Bro. Joseph M.

...I am interested in the Lay Monk (Oblate) option of your Knights of Prayer Monastic Order and remaining where I am at.  I am currently in Seminary working on my advance degree in Theology and Philosophy.
Walter P. (Columbus, Ohio)

I am currently 16 years old...I am a Baptist...I have been praying about the road I am to take as I walk with the Christ.  I have meditated and prayed since I sent you the e-mail.  I have come to think that I will probably still join as an oblate monk, in which I will probably finish my college and study theology and then use my knowledge to help spread the word of God.  I thank you for helping me.  I pray that God helps the ministry and blesses you all.  Thank you.
Yours in Christ.                                                                                               Malcolm (Arkansas)

My name is Jo-Ann, and I feel that I have always been a monk, praise the Lord!, when I came across your Web pages and The Prayer Foundation .   (I would like to) 'qualify' myself as a sister monk (I live in France because of God's calling; tell you about it another time) to yourself or fellow members of God's Squad.  Look forward to your reply. May God Bless you all indeed.
Jo-Ann (France)

Could you please subscribe me to your E-Newsletter?
I accepted Christ as my Saviour when I was 21 (now I am 52).
I have become increasingly interested in a monastic Nicene Christianity, but I am Protestant/Free Evangelical in my understanding of God's Word.  I am thinking more and more about living a monastic life, I live a "monastic" life regardless.  I need Christian fellowship and a prayer community as God leads me to bring me home.
Concordia University has all but accepted me into their Certificate in Pastoral Care program.
I am attracted to your Celtic expression.  My heritage is Welsh.
Gary B. (near Montreal, Quebec)
