Gifts / Contact Us 8/3/04____________________________________________ Dear friends in Jesus! I am so excited because I have found some who are willing to pray for me and our Sunday Schools in Nordmore. I have already read your reply many times. This is my first day after the Holidays. God bless you and thanks a lot. Hans O., Sunday School Minister (Norway) 7/29/04____________________________________________ I (am thinking about) becoming a Lay
Monk. I have read your 7/26/04____________________________________________ (Re: The Prayer Foundation ™ Website) There is so much here, I'm still exploring and discovering. Intrigued, enthralled, blessed. (Alabama) 7/22/04____________________________________________ Dear brothers/sisters in
Christ, Reply from The Prayer Foundation ™ : Of course! We are always happy when other websites place a "Link" to our Site (www.prayerfoundation.org) on their own website. No one needs our permission to do so. 7/15/04____________________________________________ I have accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, this date.

Reply
from The Prayer
Foundation ™
: We
pray daily for those who have received Christ through our Site.
This was started by Monk
Preston, who has been praying for those he
has personally led to the Lord for over thirty years.
If you have any questions, now or at
any time in the future, feel free to ask. We recommend your
looking at our Growing
In Christ Monastic Training Course which has much basic
Christian teaching and recommends some excellent Christian books for
new (and not so new) believers.
Another good thing to do would be to
read through all of the Bible verses in our Statement
of Faith every day for a week (we ourselves do this
every once in a while and find it to be a real blessing), because
they sum up essential Christian Doctrine.
Most important is to begin
reading God's Word and develop a habit of reading at least one
chapter every day. This will help you to grow in your spiritual
life. The best place to begin is with the Gospel of John.
Keep on reading through the Book of Acts that follows, and then
go back and read the other three Gospels: Matthew, Mark,
and Luke.
We also recommend to all
Christians that they listen to the Thru
The Bible radio program
hosted by Dr. J. Vernon McGee. Dr.
McGee teaches through the entire Bible every 5 years on his daily
half-hour program. This will ground you in basic Bible teaching.
It can be found on your local Christian radio station, or you can
listen online on their website at: www.ttb.org.
7/10/04____________________________________________ I would like to
join you at your monastery. I think the monastic life is 7/9/04____________________________________________ I feel ready to join The Prayer Foundation ™ as a monk; I am glad you allow people from England to be monks in your order. England needs many prayers at the moment because not many people believe in Jesus here anymore. I feel I am being called by God to be a monk and be a man of God. I have read your page on how to Become A Monk! and agree with all the requirements. I am very interested in prayer and spend many times a day praying and hope to help your ministry with prayer and action. Dominic W.
