What I liked best was the purity of your practices based solely on the Word of God, nothing added, nothing taken away. I would like to see more on fasting. Great emphasis on prayer, and greatly needed. Fasting is a dying discipline that most Christians I know don't begin to understand. I was a little shocked that a "monk" could be a fundamentalist. The beautiful Celtic designs / pictures drew my eyes in. Your idea for a Christian Retreat Center is extremely awesome. I am married but would love to experience seclusion myself (with hubby?) for small periods of time to get away with God. Keep us updated and let us know how we can specifically contribute to this. : We are no longer able to
obtain any copies of the Masada
Mini-Series from film distributors. Used copies are now selling on
Amazon.com for up to $400.00 U.S.
Also, Europe generally uses a
different VHS format than the U.S. (the PAL format). Make certain
that you obtain the correct format for your player. We suggest
trying Amazon.com UK (or if Denmark has its own national
Amazon.com). If you do get a used copy from North
America and you have a VHS format player, if the player was
not also made in North America, you still may have to get a special attachment
(from a Video or electronics store) to be able to play it on your
machine.
Our hope is that such a popular
subject as Masada,
and starring such an equally popular actor as Peter O'Toole,
will be issued on DVD at some point in the future.
