Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ -
I have been visiting your site and enjoying learning more about your ministry.
I notice that you list the excellent Thompson Chain-Reference Study Bible amongst useful books for study.  My first study Bible was a Thompson and I could lose myself in it for hours back when I first purchased it at about 16 years of age.  I still have one in my arsenal and wouldn't leave home without it, but for about a year now I have been thoroughly enjoying the
refreshing format of the Life Application Study Bible (LASB).  While this study Bible comes in various translations, the one I am currently using is the New Living Translation by Tyndale House Publishers.

I was wondering if you might take a moment to review the Life Application Study Bible format and give it consideration for listing along with the Thompson in your resource listing.  While I fully realize everyone has their own preferences regarding the choice of translation, the format and focus of this format literally pertain to personal life application, which I continue to find very encouraging and refreshing.

Some of the basic features of the LASB format are:

- Over 10,000 Life Application notes help explain God's Word and challenge readers to apply the truth of Scripture to life
- Personality profiles highlight over 100 important Bible characters
- Book introductions provide vital statistics, overview, and timeline to help readers understand the message of each book.
- 200 thumbnail maps highlight important Bible places
and events.
- 260 charts help explain difficult concepts and relationships
- Cross-references
- Harmony of the Gospels built right into the text of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
- Dictionary/concordance.
- Words of Christ in red letter.
- Daily reading plan.
- Topical index to all notes, charts, maps, and profiles.
- Genuine leather and bonded leather editions include gold-page edges and ribbon marker.
Thank you again for your marvelous ministry.  I look
forward to continued visits to your web site.
Peace always,
Hugh C. Keith                                                                                       Introspicere

I spent a good part of yesterday evening going through your
website in detail, which was so interesting and helpful.  I am so loving
this...I will be sending you U.S. mail soon requesting lay monk status with the certificate and wallet card.

I enjoy creating my own witnessing tracts for people who don't know Jesus (I create them in Word or Publisher, and hand them out in my travels, and mail them to unsaved family/friends) as well as Bible study helps for me and my Christian friends.

-- Please do say "Hi" to Monk Linda for me.  I am not a feminist, but I
do believe, aside from the fact that we are His children also, God values
and uses women according to their gifts just as He does men, and seeing
Monk Linda as a monk has given such a lift to my days!  I'm really tickled by this! (not in a joking way - just a happy way).

Thanks again for your ministry, and God bless you all!

Yours in Christ,
Karen  :)  (New Jersey)

Greetings in the name of Jesus !
Just wanted to let you know that I sent you a contribution of $30.00 U.S. and would like to receive a Monk Certificate & Card (I am on the 24-Hr. Prayerchain, and I am practicing the Daily Prayer: Praying the Hours and I read the Bible every day).  Also I would like to subscribe to the Newsletter. Thanks.  Keep up the great work.
I also want to let you know that I am developing what I am calling an "Abbey" as a seminary for the new leaders of my congregation and "The Cloister" as a retreat focus for those interested in prayer and fasting.  FYI.
For the Kingdom !!

Note from The Prayer Foundation : We are very excited about what you are doing!  These are the kinds of things that we hoped to see happening when we started this ministry!

As a born again Christian who wishes to grow in Christ, draw closer to God and have Him draw closer to me, I was so very thrilled to find your site!
I have always been fascinated with monastic life but I had never heard of a born again Christian monastic order. It was such an exciting lift for me to see your website and the information about Monk Linda and your
acknowledgement of the history of women in Scripture.  The information on your site has been such a blessing to me already!
Speaking as a woman (no offense at all to the men), I am particularly
fascinated with Monk Linda's life serving God this way.
Thank you so very much and God bless all of you!
With love in Christ,
Karen S. (New Jersey)
