Kevin Max & DC Talk

I found your site through the Kevin Max (Christian Music: DC Talk / KMax) web site.  At first I was a wee little shocked at Kevin Max.  Is he a monk?  Anyway I'm a huge KMax fan, that's why I first checked out your web page.  However I'm really glad I checked it out.  I have been searching for some place to get closer to God and I think being a monk is it...

Please subscribe me to your monthly E-Newsletter.  I also signed up as a Prayer Warrior on your 24-Hr. Prayerchain.                                          Charles E. (Mississippi)

Note from The Prayer Foundation : If you go to the official Kevin Max web site (kevinmax.com) and click on the inspire page.  When you roll up the overlay of the page there is a four picture repetition of a portrait of E. M. Bounds that came from our site.  If you click on any of the E. M. Bounds portraits, they are "linked" to bring you to one of the E. M. Bounds pages on our Prayer Foundation web site.  At least as of right now: 3/27/03 (we don't know how often Kevin Max changes his web site).  Kevin Max has not yet registered as a Monk of our Knights of Prayer Monastic Order.  Monk Preston and Monk Linda remember going to see Kevin and DC Talk at Christian Rock Festivals held yearly outside Portland a LONG time ago (ten years?), and we are happy that Brother Kevin has "linked" his site to ours.

I just wanted to drop you a small note to say hello and let you know that I am still here and praying for you!  How are things in the ministry?  I think of you often and hope that all is well.
I recently finished a term paper on St. Ignatius of Loyola and was Very moved by reading his Spiritual Exercises.  Very powerful.

Hey, I saw that there is a monk from New Jersey now!
You know I am in school in New Jersey.  Where in New
Jersey is Monk Seth from?

I wish you all the best.  God bless you.
Yours in Christ,
                                                                                             Brother Adam (Iowa)

How do you witness to a person that uses drugs and their parents don't really care about them?                                                                     Lauren  (Rockwall, Texas)

Answer from The Prayer Foundation : The best way to tell someone about Jesus is often with your own testimony, how and why you received Christ.  This is personal experience.  Everyone, no matter what they are "into," or what their situation may be, is looking for love.  The love that they are seeking is found only in God through Jesus Christ, although they may not realize this.  If you want to learn more about how to witness, we recommend three books by Paul E. Little: How To Share Your Faith, Know What You Believe, and Know Why You Believe.

God wants us to be sensitive serving people, because Jesus did not

come to be served, but to serve (Mark 10: 45). The needs of people

mostly come to the fore during times of prayer.  When you hear that

someone is in need - spiritually or financially - reach out to that

person.  Read the Parable of the good Samaritan, and do not look

the other way.

Your Friend,                                                                                                      Pastor Johan L., Missionary (Nelspruit, South Africa)

I just wanted you to know that I received the "A.D." (Mini-series) Video set on Thursday, March 27, 2003.
Thank you and May God Bless your ministry and you!
Delois (Vermont)
