Gifts / Contact Us 3/25/03__________________________________________ My name is Jay L*** and I'm a reporter for
Associated Press.
Good morning! A few lines to tell you that,
at this very moment, I just received my "A.D."
(Mini-series) video tapes. I can't you how
happy I am. After so many years. I thank the Good Lord that I
found you on the line. This will be my personal Easter
Gift. This afternoon, I'm going to church and I'll be thanking
the Lord and I'll be praying for you all. Thank you, again.
May God Bless You all.
Suzanne. R. (Quebec, Canada)
3/24/03__________________________________________ Will you please put me on your mailing list (to subscribe to your monthly E-Newsletter). I am interested in your movement and particularly St. Francis. Thank you, Stanley C. (Ontario, Canada)
Note
from The Prayer Foundation ™
: We
have subscribed you to our monthly E-Newsletter.
Of course, you may unsubscribe at any time. We
share your love for St.
Francis, who's life is one of the major influences and
inspiration of this ministry. Have
you ever seen Franco Zefirelli's wonderfully inspiring film, Brother
Sun, Sister Moon? We
watch it at least four times per year, and have often told people that
if they desire to understand our ministry, they need only to view that
film, and that no further words from us are necessary.
3/19/03__________________________________________ To The Prayer Foundation ™,
It
looks like this country is going to go to war. I'm curious...are
you
and the other monks out there as scared as I
am?
I used to want to live in the Washington D.C.
area because it was
strategic. Now with all this talk about
war and terrorist attacks
I wish I was on a little farm in Iowa
somewhere.
Adrienne (Washington, D.C.)
Note from The Prayer Foundation ™ : See Monk Preston's complete reply to this letter, and his Commentary on Psalm 34 (finding hope by going to Jesus), on our page: War With Iraq & Psalm 34. 3/19/03__________________________________________ I have spoken to the head of the religion department here at Grove City (Pennsylvania), and he has agreed to lead me on an independent study on Celtic Christianity, investigating several sources, both primary and secondary. Combined with my own personal study, this should turn out some interesting ideas. I will send you something about the sources I use if I find them helpful, and of course send any findings I may have to you. Christ's alone, Monk Brian (New Hampshire) 3/19/03__________________________________________
Greetings in the name of Jesus !
What an awesome site ! I am
a born again charismatic Presbyterian minister who has always had a
passion for the monastic movement. Lately in my ministry the
Lord has been putting a burden on my heart for the idea of
"monasticism for the 3rd millenium" and with my reading of
Christian futurists I have realized that what I have been looking
for is a modern form of celtic christianity...and now I have found
it with The Prayer Foundation ™,
the Prayer Warriors, the monks of the new millenium. This is
incredible. I want to be a part of this. I have already
signed up to be a prayer warrior: that is my ministry, I am an
intercessor. This is so cool... and so exciting. You
don't know what an answer to prayer this is. Thank you for
hearing God's call. Blessings on you all.
For the Kingdom.....

I am eager to receive the Certificate & Card that are mentioned on your web site. I have enclosed a thirty dollar donation made out to The Prayer Foundation ™. It was nice to find your web site. It was very informative. I pray that you're able to keep doing what you're doing. And I hope this small donation will in some way assist you. Your brother in Christ, Seth A.
