We are a Lagos, Nigeria based Evangelical Outreach dedicated to preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus by demonstrating His power to save, heal and deliver. Through this we bring sinners to a knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Our major activity is working with other evangelists / churches to organize outdoor evangelical crusades.
Remember us in your prayers that God will provide all the spiritual, financial and people resources required to take Badagry, Nigeria for Christ.
Why Badagry?
It was the first place where the gospel was preached in what is now called Nigeria (1842!).  Many of the early missionaries were killed and to compound the spiritual problem of shedding innocent blood, it was also a major transit point for slave trade.  Many slaves died at Badagry while in transit.  Today, the town's population is mainly muslims and animists!
All through 2002, we will be organizing crusades / tent meetings / healing rooms in Badagry.   We need all the prayers we can get.
Most importantly, remember the unsaved souls in Badagry in your prayers.
Pastor Joe  (Lagos, Nigeria)

Dear Monk Preston -
I have just spent some time visiting your web site and was very interested to learn more about your monastic order.  Congratulations to you and the co-founders on founding a monastic order that is at once inclusive and orthodox in it's Christian belief.  I fully agree with Brother Thomas of New York who stated that your order has "introduced a breath of fresh air into the monastic life."  It is refreshing to see the thoughtfulness and care that your order has taken to accentuate the rewarding and positive nature of the contemplative Christian lifestyle that can be enjoyed
by all believers.
May God continue to richly bless and encourage you and
your order in your ministry for Him.  Happy holidays!
=====
Peace always,
Hugh C. K.

Thank you for your prompt response to our E-mail...I have been serving the Lord full time by faith for 17 years in India, Alaska, and the Middle East.  Our ministry has logged over 100,000 miles of road travel, preaching the Gospel in over 100 cities in the last year alone!  God has blessed us with very good support...                                                     Jesus has put it on our hearts to pledge one-hundred dollars a month to your Order, and that will continue until He tells us otherwise.                  May God bless you and yours.                                                                Senior Priest Daniel N.

P.S.: Tell Monk Danny that the gift we will be choosing for our first donation will be his CD.  We are all huge Jazz fans and are looking forward to enjoying his music!

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thank you so much for all the times you have prayed for me over the past months.  I have really seen God's faithfulness in my circumstances and God's amazing grace to cope day by day with intense pain from a long term illness/disability.                                                                                       Jeanette (New Zealand)
