Hello, Friends,
I am delighted for this opportunity to write to you. I was browsing your
web site. Visiting different churches via the web is something I enjoy
doing at night.  My name is Bob. I am in my late twenties, residing alone in New York.  I am a biblical tither--in accordance with Malachi.  :-)
Web sites like that of yours, are critical forms of outreach. The Lord
uses them to minister to shut-ins and the infirm. I am a partial shut-in
at this time.  I am alone at the holidays, but remain encouraged by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Happy holidays 2001!
Bob (New York City)

Note from The Prayer Foundation: Just for clarification purposes---we are a Nonprofit Interdenominational Christian Organization.  One of our ministries (Knights of Prayer) is a Lay Monastic Order (Ordinary Christians as Monks: Men, Women, Married Persons).  For more information on this, see: About the Prayer Foundation™; The Purpose of the Prayer Foundation™; Knights of Prayer™ Monastic Order ; Become a Monk!

Dear Brother (and Sister) Monks of The Prayer Foundation Organization:
One time I wrote to an organization requesting praying for my chronic pain.  Since then I started receiving letters and requests for prayer for others.  I must tell you that it's like an elixir to my body and soul, like being intoxicated without wine, when in pain I sit in front of my computer and read of the misery that so many people are living in.
The pain of terrible diseases, and the heartbreak of many parents because their ungrateful and heartless children; who ignore them now that they have grown, and have forgotten all the sacrifices which as parents we must go through, in order to raise our children well.
I am very committed to this work, in many ways.  First; it helps me to realize that there are people who are much worse off than I am; in more pain, with broken bodies and souls.  Secondly; I forget the "Me" that is in the way of being a good Christian, and instead console and comfort the sad and poor of spirit.
I want you keep my name in mind, since I do this work with all sincerity in my heart.  I want to share Gods' words, and His everlasting love for us. I want to let people know that there is a Mind bigger than our own guiding us; keeping the heavens and all the galaxies in their natural paths. Only this great Mind can do such miracles.
              Respectfully yours,
Ana (One of your Prayer Warriors)

I just wanted to say thank you so much for praying for Dayna and Heather, the two American Christian aid workers in Afghanistan. Praise God for their freedom!  I know Dayna personally and both girls are good
friends of my friends.  It's really so amazing... God is so faithful! :)
Allison
