Tell others about Jesus like David Livingstone did:

Though not all Christians are called to life on the Mission Field, we are all called by God to share our faith (witness) with those who are not Christians (our own "Mission Field" is wherever we happen to be!).  Some Bible verses that you will find helpful for doing this, and that you may want to commit to memory are found on other pages on our  web site (see: Memory Verses; 2nd Set: Salvation!, Plan of Salvation, and Statement of Faith). _________________

Unimaginable Wonders and Unspeakable Hardships.  He Faces Fierce Tribes, Arab Slave Traders, and Deadly Disease

It is 1870.  Stanley, famous reporter for the New York Herald, sets out to find David Livingstone, whose fate has been a much-discussed mystery since he disappeared in Africa some years before.  Stanley's search, stretching from Zanzibar to the shores of Lake Tanganyika, is filled with unimaginable wonders and unspeakable hardships.  He faces fierce tribes, Arab slave traders, and deadly disease before he can utter his now immortal words, "Dr. Livingstone, I presume."

Filmed on location in Kenya, Tanganyika (now Tanzania) and Uganda, the all-star cast includes Nancy Kelly as the woman who gives Stanley the strength to continue, and Walter Brennan as his trusted second.  "Stanley and Livingstone" is an adventure of human spirit and perseverance you'll never forget.
