Hispanic Evangelist to the Whole World: From His Youth He Dreamed of Leading People to Christ ...born in Buenos Aires, Argentina... Luis Palau was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1926. He was converted at the age of twelve. "I dreamed of leading lots of people to Christ," he says. He studied in Argentina and in Portland, Oregon. He studied in Argentina and in Portland, Oregon. Since founding the Luis Palau Evangelistic Team, he has taken his crusades to Great Britain, Germany, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Japan, Eastern Europe, and the Soviet Union. Palau...in person has witnessed to more than 13 million people. Close to 40,000 people turned to Christ during his 1991 Crusade in Romania. Palau has reached millions of people through radio broadcasts and a newspaper column and in person has witnessed to more than 13 million people. "God loves to hear a man speak well of His Son."
