We ourselves here have always used the Nicene Creed, each personally reciting/praying it daily, and also in our weekly Worship Service.  This exposition of the Apostle's Creed covers most of the same basic essential doctrines which form the basis of Christian orthodoxy (the Nicene Creed more extensively and precisely clarifies these doctrines from Scripture, particularly those concerning The Trinity and The Deity of Christ).  The teaching of the Apostles as to the most important basic essentials of the Christian faith are stated in Holy Scripture and were recorded by the Church Fathers in the "Rule of Faith" used in the early churches, summarized in the Apostle's Creed, and definitively stated and recognized by the entire Church in the final form of the Nicene Creed (Nicaeno-Constantinopolitan Creed) in 381 A.D. _______________________________
