Note: This is not a separate Service for the Monks here; we use it to begin either our One Daily Hour of Prayer, or the first of The Threefold Daily Prayers (if observed individually); whichever comes first that day.  If you do not observe either of these times of prayer, it may be used as an entirely separate Service.

Sometime during each day, usually during our One Daily Hour of Prayer; though either may be offered at any time during the day; we will confess/pray The Nicene Creed, which we recommend for all Christians, and The Rule of Monk Preston, which we recommend for all of our Lay Monks.

If you usually Sing or Say the Prayer Upon Arising: St. Patrick's Breastplate (with or without Psalm 5), but have not already done so today, they may be prayed now.
