The Four Goals: (Colossians 1:9-10)

"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Right Ministry); 

That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing (Right Life), 

being fruitful in every good work (Right Practice), and increasing in the knowledge of God (Right Belief);"

Right Life (orthozoe): Zoe means spiritual life: "The kind of life that is in God himself."  Summarized by Receiving Christ (John 1:12) and Walking in the Spirit (Romans 8:1-39).  Our conversion experience and our continuing Christian life.  Christ in us...us in Christ.

Receiving Christ

"Repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." -Acts 3:19

"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." -Romans 10:9-10

  "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." -Acts 4:12

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." -John 1:12-13

"Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." -II Corinthians 5:17

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16 (Memory Verse)

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."  -John 3:17

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." -John 14:6

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."                      -Ephesians 2:8-9

"He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son of God has not life." -John 5:12

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life..."                         -John 5:13
