Tell others about Jesus like these memorable Christians did:

Though we are not all called to the ministry of a Pastor, Foreign Missionary, Prominent Evangelist, or Christian Writer, we are all called by God to share our faith (witness) with those who are not Christians.  Some Bible verses that you will find helpful for doing this, and that you may want to commit to memory are found on other pages on our  web site (see: Memory Verses; 2nd Set: Salvation!, Plan of Salvation, and Statement of Faith). ____________

Christian History Magazine Special Issue (Issue 100) - Celebrating the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible

Read how the pet project of an intellectual king became, against all odds, the most beloved English book.

Through engaging articles, captivating images and thought-provoking extras this issue explores the fascinating story behind the making of the King James Bible, on the 400th anniversary of this monumental event.

Comments of The Prayer Foundation:

A "Must-Have" Magazine Subscription!

We love the extremely important  ministry of Christian History Magazine and we love their book: 131 Christians Everyone Should Know.

This is our all-time favorite magazine, and the only magazine subscription our monastery now receives (in the past we have also subscribed to Christianity Today magazine and National Geographic magazine).

We had previously subscribed for about three years, and had assiduously purchased and collected all of the back issues that we could.  They are so excellent!  We are currently missing only about six back issues out of the complete 100!

These are issues that all of our monks have read, many of them several times over.

We consider them to be an important  permanent resource in our monastery library.

Publication was turned over to the  Christianity Today Group pf magazines, and we were terribly disappointed when they ceased its publication with issue 99.

Now publication is back with its original publisher, the Christian History Institute / Vision Video. ______________________________
