6/17/02_________________________________________________________ I had requested prayer for my financial situation and for my son who had a drug problem and also is facing a trial for burglaries. My financial situation is Much improved. Thank you so much for your prayers. I thought the only solution would be to win the lottery or something. However, God had other plans. My husband had been paying a huge amount of support to his ex-wife. She took him to court for more. The court decided in his favor and he doesn't have to pay any anymore. This is incredible and certainly an answer to prayers. Now we have enough money to pay the bills! ...my son... is doing well and is off drugs. Thank you so very much for your prayers. Mom in Pennsylvania 6/15/02_________________________________________________________ I want to say that things always go so well
for us when I send in a prayer request, maybe not immediately, but real
soon thereafter. I am having to relocate all my family to Houston
for a better paying job to afford my mom going to assisted
living or a private duty nurse at home. My cousin has stepped in and
leased me her house in a very nice area, I already found a job, I start
Jun 26th. It's all going well. The good news is, my husband has passed his
certification courses and has been offered a job in Houston upon his
release in Nov. 2003. Isn't that great! God is Good!!
Thank
you so much for all of your past efforts in the past, they have really
made a difference. I'll keep in touch. Much love to all from
all of us, to all of you!!

ANSWER TO PRAYER:
4/17/02
Thank you for praying for my
son, Trent. He did, indeed, receive a very favorable ruling
today! Last night he was reading
the Bible and two other inmates joined him in an impromptu
study & prayer session.
Rick F.
Update: Wed., April 24
My son, Trent, has another court
appearance tomorrow. Please pray that the judge will
release Trent, immediately.
Yes, Trent has received blessings and insights from God while in
jail. But, he says, "I want to come home and start to
jog every day and eat right and heal my body and go to Bible
studies at night."
Thank you for your prayers.
Rick F.
ANSWER TO PRAYER 4/26/02:
Thank
you for your prayers. My son, Trent, is home with us!
Praise the Lord! Over the past three weeks, Trent has
been the recipient of many miraculous blessings. Today,
God intervened again and Trent was released from jail.
He still has a few court appearances which will determine
the level and length of mandated rehab. I'll keep you
posted.
Thanks again, and God bless you!
Rick F.
E-MAIL FROM TRENT 4/26/02:
Hello friends. Wow! Freedom! It sure is a good
thing. Having developed a personal relationship with
Jesus about 2 &1/2 weeks ago is even better.
The love and peace I feel is like nothing that the world
could give to me. Thank you all so much for your many
prayers. They worked! I just want to jump and
shout for joy. In jail I began reading the book of
John. Awesome stuff! I am so excited about
my new life and I'm so lucky my dad is a true man of God.
I asked him if he will baptize me some time next week either
in his swimming pool or at the beach. What a
relief, I can leave the past behind. Amen.
Trent F.
(Update) ANSWER TO PRAYER 6/11/02:
Your continued prayers for my
son, Trent, are working!
Praise God! He
continues to grow and change in the Lord!
Trent studies the Word, on his
own, tirelessly. He's doing an in-depth, study-workbook for
Romans. He's active in a Spirit-filled church and this Sunday will
be serving in the Children's Church. He
demonstrates no interest in the worldly music or
entertainment that used to enthrall him. Now, it's only
Jesus!
Also, he's quit smoking cigarettes!
Satan often gnaws at Trent with
drug-related memories but he has learned to "pray through"
these times.
Thanks again.
Rick F.
6/10/02_________________________________________________________ Again thank you to all of you who are praying for Nicco and have sent us letters of concern and encouragement. On Tuesday Nicco had another MRI of the brainstem tumor, and the results are good...the MRI clearly shows that the tumor has dead pockets inside. His fighting spirit is so strong in him, and we know it has become stronger because of your prayers. Thank you so much to all of you...God bless you all. Thordis and Ellen 6/9/02_________________________________________________________ Dear
Monks, 6/7/02_________________________________________________________ Praise the Lord!!! He worked a miracle! My sister-in-law, Ruthie's, surgery was successful. Her pancreatic cancer hadn't spread and she won't even need chemo or radiation. Thank you for interceding on her behalf; your thoughts and prayers are gratefully appreciated. God bless you. God is good! Ginny F. J ________________________________________________________________ Next Previous Page of "Answers To Prayer" (Page 7) ___________________________________ Copyright © 2002 S.G.P.
